Less admin between the 5:30am client and the 7pm class

You start before it's light, split your day around other people's lunch hours, and finish after the office crowd has gone home. You only earn when a client turns up, and January's keenest client has often gone quiet by March. The admin gets done on a bench, between sets, with your phone on a foam roller.

A working week, in pages

The old knee you hear about mid-squat

New clients mention the injury once they're already warming up. Get injuries, medication and heart history in writing before the first session, along with an emergency contact and a signature. It's back on your phone before they walk in.

Selling the ten-pack

A single session is easy to skip when work gets busy, and a pack is paid for before the week starts. Set out single, five and ten side by side so the saving is plain. They can pay on the spot, still sweating, while they're sure.

Coaching with no end date

Remote programming doesn't finish, and asking a client for money every month gets awkward by the third time. Let them subscribe to a plan. Stripe bills them monthly until they cancel from their own link.

The 5:10am text

"Can't make it today" lands as you park, and you've been up since half past four. Set a cutoff on your booking page, say twelve hours, and clients can move or cancel themselves before it but not after. What you charge for a late cancel stays your call.

Saturday in the park

You own twelve kettlebells, the group chat says fifteen are coming, and eight will show. A sign-up page shows places left and what to bring, and with replies counted on the page it closes itself when the last place goes. Check first if your council needs a permit for paid sessions in its parks.

Week four of the challenge

The first fortnight everyone is posting their numbers, and by week four half the group has gone quiet. Put a board on the gym TV and update points by text after each session. Being third by thirty points gets people back through the door.

Questions

Will the page count down sessions in a pack?

Not the ready-made one. It takes the payment, and you keep track of sessions used. You can ask for a simple session tally in your own words, and it's written for you as its own page. The Pay button on a pack runs on your own Stripe account.

Where do clients' health answers go?

They come back to you and stay in your account as a reply, with the typed name and signature. Ask only what you need for training. Rules on holding health details, and on what a waiver can do, vary by place.

Can a client pause monthly coaching while they're away?

There's no pause button on the ready-made page. They can cancel from their own link, which stops billing at the end of the paid period, and sign up again when they're back.
