An RSVP page that keeps its own guest count
An RSVP tells you how much food to order and how many chairs to put out. This page is the invitation and the reply in one place: date, venue, dress code and a running order, then a yes or no with guest numbers and dietary needs. Every reply comes to you, and guests can add the event to their calendar.
When to use it
- A workshop opening or a client thank-you where you need a headcount for catering.
- A team party, with replies currently scattered through three group chats.
- A launch evening you're promoting with a QR code on a poster.
- An AGM or a parents' evening where you need numbers but not payment.
What a good one includes
- A clear date, start time and address. Guests will check this page on the night.
- A running order, so people can arrive when it matters to them.
- A reply-by date, set before your caterer's deadline.
- A limit on guests per reply, up to twelve, so a yes for one doesn't become a yes for nine.
- A dietary question if there's food.
- Practical notes such as parking and whether children are welcome.
Make one by saying what you need
Text it, type it or say it, the way you'd tell a colleague:
RSVP for the Fernwood Brewery tenth birthday party, Friday July 19 at 7pm, up to 3 guests each, ask about dietary needs, reply by July 10.
Questions
How do guests reply?
They tap yes or no, enter a name and a phone or email, and say how many are coming. No account is needed.
Can I see who's coming?
Yes. Every reply reaches you with names, numbers, dietary needs and notes.
Should I send a reminder?
A short one a day or two before helps, and it's a good moment to repeat the address and parking. Guests can also add the event to their calendar when they reply.
