How people agree to texts
Programmable, LLC runs programmable.page, where small businesses make invoices, quotes, booking pages and forms. Texts are only sent to people who asked for them or agreed to them, and every text can be stopped by replying STOP.
Who gets texts, and why
- People in a business who make pages by text. A business adds a team member's mobile number, and we text that number a one-time code. Entering the code confirms that the person with the phone agrees to texts. They then text a request (for example invoice Sarah Lee, 3h at $95) and get back a link to the page.
- A business's customers, only with their agreement. Before a business can text a customer, it must confirm the customer agreed to texts from the business. That agreement is recorded with the date. The texts are the pages the business sends them (an invoice, a quote, a booking), and booking and payment reminders.
We never send marketing texts, and agreeing to texts is never a condition of buying anything.
Where people agree
1. A team member's phone (Settings → Texting & email → Add a contact)

2. A customer (sending a page by text, or adding a customer)

What the texts look like
- Hi Sarah, here's your invoice from Ada's Plumbing: https://programmable.page/v/Q0v3FtEG Reply STOP to opt out.
- Reminder from Ada's Plumbing: you're booked for Tue 4 Nov, 10:00. Change or cancel: https://programmable.page/b/k2Hq9 Reply STOP to opt out.
Every text names the business it's from.
Stopping texts, and help
Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP at any time to stop texts from that number: you get one confirmation, then nothing more. Reply START to allow them again, and HELP for help, or write to [email protected].
Mobile information (phone numbers and text-message consent) is not shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. More in the Privacy Policy and the Terms.
